Enzymes reduce the activation energy needed for chemical reaction to occur. Enzymes are involved in all metabolic reaction that sustain life. Examples of these reaction are, digestion, synthesis, respiration, and photosynthesis. Review the power point presentation to see how enzymes work.
Category: MAINTAINING HOMEOSTASIS
The processes that help all living things obtain the energy they need are photosynthesis and respiration. photosynthesis capture the sun light and use it to combine the inorganic raw materials (carbon dioxide and water) to form ( the organic compound) glucose and oxygen.the energy that is stored in the chemical bonds of glucose is released by the process of cellular respiration. The energy is released and again stored in special molecules called ATP, the form of energy used by all organisms.
A link to Wikipedia is provided for more information. Review the image that show the connection between photosynthesis and cellular respiration.

THE FEEDBACK MECHANISM

HI ALL, WE ARE GOING TO STUDY TOGETHER THE FEEDBACK MECHANISM, THE PROCESS THAT ALL LIVING THINGS USE TO KEEP A STABLE INTERNAL STATE. WITHOUT THIS PROCESS WE MIGHT GET SICK OR EVEN DIE. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO EXPLORE THIS PROCESS BY FOLLOWING the POWER POINT.

The Immune System
The Immune System
Do you know the connection between the immune system and the Coronavirus pandemic? Of course it’s the immune system. Help us fight this contagious viralinfection. You will be able to find out how the immune system protects you from getting sick.
The immune system , consists of three lines of defense .
Disease-causing organisms like bacteria, viruses, and parasites are examples of antigens; toxins and any other substance that stimulate an immune response.
